Absolutely! Be sure to come to your appointment makeup-free. This means no mascara, eyeshadow, eyeliner, strip lashes, etc.
Don't forget to take out your contacts before your appointment, or bring a carry case to put them in once you arrive.
If you use makeup remover, be sure to use a water-based face wash to get any remaining residue off. This is to ensure that your skin and lashes are free of oils! Extensions will not stick to dirty lashes, and the eye pads we use will not stick to oily or makeup-covered skin.
Please do not drink caffeine prior to your appointment- it can make your eyes twitch. If this is the case, your appointment will have to be rescheduled as we cannot work on shaky eyes.
No, as long as they are applied correctly and by a licensed professional. Extensions should never be more than 2-3mm longer than your natural lashes.
Our natural lashes are constantly shedding and regrowing; you will likely notice this more when you have extensions, but extensions will not speed up or slow down this process.
Everyone has an individual lash cycle, but we recommend scheduling fill appointments every 2-3 weeks to ensure your extensions stay full and beautiful! Depending on your cycle, you may need to come in more or less often.
Extensions will grow and fall out with your natural lashes, which is why fill appointments are so crucial to upkeep. The longer you wait for a fill, the more grown out they will be which means more extensions will need to be removed and replaced. If you wait too long, you will need a full set.
Avoid wearing oil-based makeup or using oil-based skincare as these can weaken the bond between your lashes and the glue, causing premature fallout. If you do wear makeup, keep products away from your eyes and always wash your lashes with a lash cleanser immediately after taking off makeup. Be sure to use a water-based makeup remover and avoid getting it on or near your lashes.
Be careful around heat sources as they can singe your lashes; synthetic materials can catch fire. Be particularly careful when cooking, baking, smoking, or sitting near a camp fire. Anything with a heat source should be handled with caution! Even your hair dryer can singe your lashes. In the case that this does happen, your extensions will need to be removed and a new set will need to be applied, as long as there isn’t any heat damage to your natural lashes.
You should wash and fan-dry your lashes every day with a lash cleanser- we retail it here at Euphoria Beauty along with a cleansing brush for your convenience.
